Create Your Own Gift Bundles
The festive season is a great excuse to get a little creative. Yes, you can buy a piece, that's already in a lovely box, ready to wrap, easy-peasy and we have plenty of items like that across our range, including:
- Quirky salt & pepper pots
All of these (and more), make brilliant quick gifts.
But Christmas is also the perfect opportunity to think differently. You can gift something truly unique, by bundling items together into a thoughtful hamper or gift pack.
♻️An Eco-friendly alternative
A meaningful hamper doesn’t have to mean buying everything brand new. Choose a few key pieces from our collections to anchor the bundle, then mix in your own elements for charm, sustainability, and personality.
- Wooden wine boxes. Ask at a wine merchants, or specialist shops. They often give away wooden boxes for free or for a small fee. Wine boxes make beautiful, rustic containers for curated gifts.
- Vintage glassware and crockery. Charity shops and vintage fairs are treasure troves for large bowls, decanters, quirky glass pieces, and unique crockery. Choose something with enough capacity to hold a few items and let it become part of the gift.
- Fabric wrapping. Scarves, tea towels, or pretty remnants from your wardrobe or craft stash make gorgeous reusable wrapping. Hem the edges if needed. Explore furoshiki, the traditional Japanese art of fabric gift wrapping, for inspiration.
- Second hand. It doesn't matter if a gift is second hand. In fact, preloved pieces often have their own character and patina, and are waiting for a new home. Your recipient doesn't need to know their gift was second hand (unless you choose to tell them). Books are a classic case of the gift that keeps on giving. If you’ve read it once and loved it, pass it on. It’s thoughtful, sustainable, and meaningful.
- Handmade additions. If you enjoy making things, include a handmade element: a small pottery piece, a knitted decoration, a sewn pouch, a drawing, or a crafted ornament. Pinterest is bursting with inspiration and tutorials.
- Home-cooked treats. Skip the plastic‑wrapped convenience food and make something instead. Truffles, cookies, chutneys, breads, or festive cakes - with a little planning, homemade gifts are healthier, more sustainable, and made with love.
A mix of handmade, second‑hand, and new pieces creates something truly one‑of‑a‑kind. It’s very unlikely anyone will receive a duplicate gift when you’ve put this much care into it.
🎁 Bundle Ideas: Group by Theme
A successful hamper or gift bundle has a theme. It could be a story, a shared joke, or simply a vibe. If it's tailored to the recipient, it's hard to go far wrong.
Here are a few ideas to spark inspiration:
1. Pamper Hamper
Everything they need for a cosy spa night at home:
Package in a wooden wine box or a quirky charity‑shop find, add a fluffy towel, and tie it all together with a generous ribbon off‑cut.
2. Cosy night in with a book
- The 'Just on more chapter' book pocket cushion
- Pass on that book you loved, that you know they will love too
- Add a pack (or two ) of Luxury loose leaf specialty tea
Pop the tea and book into the cushion pocket for a ready‑to‑snuggle gift.
3. Mindful Moment
Perfect for the stationery lover who enjoys journaling or sketching.
- Choose a book from our Notebooks Collection. A plain paper book for the doodlers and sketchers, or a lined book for the writers, bullet planners, and those that love a good To Do list
- A big colourful mug, like the Leaping Hare mug that also comes with a pair of cosy socks
- Add a pack of Luxury loose leaf specialty tea
Bundle in a basket for a calm, comforting moment in gift form.
4. Foodies Treats
It's easy to go overboard with this idea!
Think a mix of homecooked goodies, jars of pickles, jams, chutneys and other preserves etc. Home made cookies, bread or cakes. A selection of cheeses paired with a favourite wine.
At Hen's Tooth we have plenty of extras to bundle up for foodies. Browse out Kitchen & Dining Collection for extras, but here are a few examples:
- Chopping boards
- Lithuanian Linen tea towels
- Storage jars
- Quirky crockery, like our cabbage shaped sets
Add things that fit together, like bread with preserves and a chopping board, or festive bakes wrapped in a tea towel.
5. Spice it up
- Make up a selection of spice blends and pair with a pestle and mortar. Perfect for adventurous cooks.
6. Drink It In
For lovers of a favourite tipple, pair their drink with one of these:
- 'Wine-o-saur' - Dinosaur shaped molten glass on driftwood wine decanter. Yes, it can easily hold a whole bottle of wine.
- The Woodland Cellar - A wooden wine balance with a carved character, choose between a bird or frog
- Molten glass whiskey set. A bottle with 2 glasses in hand poured molten glass over Gamal wood

A luxurious, tactile gift for the drinks connoisseur.
